Congratulations to Vishal Tandon, who was recently appointed as a 2009 GK-12 Fellow in Biomedical Engineering. This award is based on outstanding research, outreach experience, and teaching record. The GK-12 program was developed to recognize that scientists at all levels should be able to communicate the excitement and practice of scientific research to a variety of audiences and to promote team building and leadership skills.
