Biography

Charlie Huang joined the Micro/Nanofluidics Laboratory in November 2008. His journey to the small town of Ithaca, NY is a long and storied one, having made previous stops in China, British Columbia, Quebec, New Hampshire, Washington, and California. Over that time, he acquired many skills and experiences that led to an undergraduate degree in bioengineering and a decision to further pursue scientific research at the graduate level. Charlie enjoys the simple things in life: good food, good music, and good times. When he is not working feverishly in the lab, you may find him playing ice hockey or making sweet music with his rock band. Charlie is adamantly Team Jacob.

Current Project

Dielectrophoretic characterization of bacteria and cancer cells. See project pages for DEP and circulating tumor cells for more information.
