Jin Yi currently works on developing a microfluidic device for circulator tumor cell capture with Jason Gleghorn and Erica Pratt.  Specifically, Jin will be characterizing the surface of a microdevice functionalized with antibodies specific to prostate cancer tumor surfaces.  She will also be optimizing the bioconjugation and functionalization protocols.

Biography

Jin Yi joined the Kirby Micro/Nanofluidics Laboratory in May of 2008.  In May 2010, Jin plans to graduate from the Cornell College of Engineering with a B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Education

B.S. expected May 2010 – Cornell University, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
